This is a new very correct and very high quality late style cross member. This is what supports the transmission and transfer case. This is the CORRECT one for the M38, M38A1, M170, CJ3B, late CJ3A and early CJ5. This is the one that bolts directly to the bottom of the frame. This one requires no hangers like the early style does. These are usually twisted or just about torn off from hitting things. This cross member has the correct parking brake spring arm and the reverse tork cable mount. The transmission skid plate attaches to the bottom of this as well. . 29 1/2″ long, 5 inches wide, 27″ center to center on the bolt holes ACROSS.
