This is a high quality keyed ignition switch. This way you can turn your ignition off and carry the keys with you. There is no floor starter button or plunger needed with this switch. Of course you can wire it any way you want if you wish to use a floor starter switch. You can use this with the 6, 12, and 24 volt systems. These have been very reliable in our restorations. NOTE: These will fit the military jeeps as well but they originally had a two position on off lever switch. Part number 924918
