Windshield to Hood- Bumper Welt Kit M38A1 M422A1

This is a new very high quality and very correct set of welting. This is US made and not a pre-made china kit others are selling. We build these kits. This kit is for the windshield mounted hood rest. These are found on the M38A1, M422A1, M170, and M715. The picture showing the placement and bracket is for reference purposes it is not part of the kit. The kit contains two strips of the correct asphalt coated welting and eight of the correct brass rivets. The rivets are the kind you simply just bend the tabs over and are identical size and material of the originals. Don’t miss an excellent new kit for your restoration. QTM Parts
NOTE: Just so everyone is clear out there, Asphalt is black and cotton is white. When you coat the white cotton with black asphalt you get really dark brown or black. You do not get green. When these age or get out in the weather they do fade to a light brown. The fresher the welting the darker it is.
