M38A1 Early Battery Lid Thumb Screw

This is a new very high quality reproduction thumb screw. This is for the very early M38A1. (1952-53) These hold the cowl mounted battery box lid down. The early box cover has four hooks on each side which hook into the thumb screws. Of course you tighten the thumb screws down and it locks the box cover in position. These are really bad about getting rust stuck and broken off when found. The early M38A1 takes eight of these. This sale is for one thumb screw. We do combine shipping if you need more.
