This is an original as found NOS inner element for the oil bath air cleaner. This is an original WWII surplus item. These came out of Albany, GA in the very early 60’s. They were wood crated in a bulk lot. Of course the crate had rotted down from poor storage but the cosmolined boxes saved them. The outer packaging was discarded due to it’s poor condition. The element is in perfect condition. You will need to wipe the old cosmoline off before use. These fit the air cleaner on the MB, GPW, CJ2A, M38, and M38A1. Note: This will not fit the original air cleaner on the CJ3A. It has a recessed inner ring on the lower cup which hits this element.
