This is an almost all original NOS deep mud exhaust kit. This is for the 1944 and 45 MB and GPW. This was also used to replace the side outlet system on the earlier WWII jeeps. This system was used by the USMC in the island campaigns. The side out style was bad about catching mud, getting very heavy and pulling off as well as getting drug off when the jeep got stuck and recovered. This kit includes an NOS Muffler, NOS center or long pipe, and correct reproduction header pipe. The NOS muffler has been cleaned up by us since the original packaging got wet and stuck to it over the years. (we have painted it to preserve it in storage so the muffler you get may be a different color than the one in the picture) There may be a little light pitting on the muffler. The last picture is showing the deep mud system in the ordinance 9 technical manual. This will also work on the CJ2A with the understanding you may have to tweak it here and there but it fits.
