This is a new very correct and high quality accelerator foot rest button. These are commonly called the mushroom because of their shape. This is located just to the upper right of the accelerator pedal. In theory it can be used to pivot your foot between the gas pedal and starter button. Yes, this is why that upper left hole on your transmission floor pan section is always larger than the others. This is not a freeze plug and bolt welded together like some offer. This is the correct thickness, thread, and weld. These were OEM Factory items on the MB, GPW, CJ2A, CJ3A, M38, and M38A1s.
